OSTEOPATHY FOR NEWBORNS

The osteopath can support the baby and parents in certain situations such as :

 

  • Breastfeeding problems

  • Plagiocephaly

  • Torticollis

  • Movement asymmetries

  • Colic

  • Reflux/regurgitation

  • Difficult childbirth (e.g. use of forceps and suction cup)

  • Ear infections

  • Sleep

Here is some information related to your osteopathy appointment, both for the initial session and the osteopathic follow-up :

 

  • Each session will last approximately 55 minutes but can vary for each newborn.

  • Each session is comprised of:

    • A detailed health history questionnaire

    • A postural observation

    • Palpation, mobility and vitality tests

    • An osteopathic treatment

    • Exercises adapted to the newborn

  • The price is 91.32$ + taxes = 105$

  • A receipt for osteopathic care will be issued with the mention of Ostéopathie Québec member.
